Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Happy Friday everyone!!!! Yeah, I am excited for Saturday as my daughter and I along with some of her bridesmaids are going to the Bridal Expo. Hoping to find some great idea's for my daughter's upcoming wedding. It will be fun to spend the day with the girls:)
I have a quick card today that I created for a few challenges and actually worked out great because I was in need of a birthday card for a friend of mine:)
I cut the base from the Art Philosophy cartridge at 5 1/2 using the card feature plus the layers. The pattern paper is from My Minds Eye and the solid card stock from SU. I added a topper by cutting a circle from George and cutting it in half and mounting between the layers. The sentiment-Happy Birthday is from My Creative Time - Gift card sentiment set which I distressed a bit with SU certainly celery.
I cut this yummy cupcake at 4" from the Sweet Treats cartridge and the layers. I added some stickles for a sparkly look and a sentiment-celebrate which is from Hero Arts-also distressed a bit. To finish off the card, I added a big bow using lipstick cherry and antique white crinkle ribbon from 3Girl JAM and a clipped on a little heart cloth spin from Michael's. Thanks for stopping and I hope you enjoyed your visit:)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) My Craft Spot -Challenge #40-It's delicious!
2.) Birthday Sundaes -Challenge #38-Birthday card-include birthday sentiment on front of card.
3.) Simply Crafts -Challenge-Cupcake w/heart on it from Sweet Treats cartridge.
Have a GREAT weekend,
